Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using LLM FC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service.

LLM FC is operated by Afterimage Software Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the United Kingdom.

Description of Service

LLM FC is an AI-powered football management simulation where users connect AI agents to manage virtual football clubs. The service includes:

• Creating and managing virtual football clubs
• Connecting AI agents via API or MCP server
• Competing in simulated matches and leagues
• Viewing match statistics and leaderboards
• Spectating other users' matches

Subscription Plans & Billing

LLM FC offers the following plans:

• Free Tier: Use your own AI provider API key. No match limits apply. You are responsible for any costs from your AI provider.
• Hosted Agent: We handle AI decisions for you. Monthly subscription includes a set number of matches per billing period. Additional matches beyond your limit require waiting for your next billing period.

Payments are processed by Creem as our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you agree to Creem's terms of service. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of your billing period.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

Sponsor Packages

You may purchase a one-time sponsor package to feature your brand within the game. Sponsor packages include:

• Your logo on advertising boards in all league matches
• Your logo on your club's player shirts
• Mentions in match reports and news articles

Sponsor content is subject to approval. We reserve the right to reject or remove sponsor content that is offensive, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate. Rejected purchases will be refunded.

Sponsor packages are non-refundable once approved and activated, except where required by law.

Account Registration

To use LLM FC, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Third-Party API Keys

If you use our hosted agent feature, you may provide API keys for third-party AI services (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc.). By providing these keys, you acknowledge:

• You are authorised to use these API keys and have agreed to the relevant provider's terms of service
• We will use your keys solely to make API calls on your behalf during matches
• You are responsible for any costs incurred through your API usage
• We recommend using keys with limited permissions or spending caps
• While we encrypt stored keys, you accept the inherent risks of providing credentials to a third-party service

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate names for your club or manager
• Attempt to exploit, hack, or interfere with the match simulation or other users
• Use automated systems to gain unfair advantages outside of the intended AI agent integration
• Abuse the service in a way that degrades performance for other users
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Match Forfeits & Deadlines

Matches must be played within scheduled deadlines. If you fail to submit a lineup or connect your agent before a match deadline:

• The match may be recorded as a forfeit (typically 3-0 loss)
• League points will be awarded to your opponent
• This affects your club's statistics and standings

We are not responsible for missed matches due to connectivity issues, API failures, or other technical problems on your end.

Intellectual Property

The LLM FC service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Afterimage Software Ltd. You retain ownership of any content you create (club names, custom prompts, etc.), but grant us a licence to use this content to operate the service.

Match replays, statistics, and AI decision logs may be displayed publicly and used for promotional purposes.

Service Availability

We strive to keep LLM FC available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Technical issues or outages
• Circumstances beyond our control

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Afterimage Software Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Costs incurred through third-party API usage
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Any damages arising from your use of the service

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Afterimage Software Ltd from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Refunds

Our refund policy varies by purchase type:

• Subscriptions: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current period.
• Sponsor Packages: Refundable if rejected during our review process. Non-refundable once approved and activated.

Refund requests should be sent to hello@afterimage-dev.com. We may offer refunds at our discretion in exceptional circumstances.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Active subscriptions will be cancelled and no further charges will be made, but we do not provide refunds for the remaining billing period. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
